Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has stated that he is aware of the interest from other clubs across Europe for his services. The Brazil born Spanish striker has been one of most wanted men in European football over the last few months.
He has covered more than 35 goals in the last 45 appearances for the Spanish outfit, as they have not only reached the Champions League final but also dominated their domestic league as well. In a league when the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona have shared the title for the last 10 years, the challenge from Atletico Madrid has been primarily based on the goals from Costa.
The club has a fine tradition of producing top-class strikers after having recently sold the likes of Fernando Torres, Sergio Aguero, Radamel Falcao, and Diego Forlan for massive amounts of money. Costa is also expected to join suit and leave the club, according to the belgie rusland odds website, in the summer even if they win the Champions League.
Chelsea are thought to be massive admirers of the 25-year-old. They were looking to get him even in January but the deal did not materialise since Atletico were involved in the title race. Costa says that the summer will provide a lot of chances for the questions about his future.
"I feel good at Atletico, I am happy in Madrid. We will see what happens, there are offers but it is too early yet to talk. Now I am just thinking about the end of the season, I want to win the Champions League and La Liga. The truth is this is a beautiful final that we'll play against Real Madrid. It will be a great match, we hope to do well. We deserve to be in the final. The team was calm after Torres' [opening] goal, we were tremendous for the whole game," said Costa.
