English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur may have already completed the signings of a defender and a goalkeeper this summer but it looks like they are still very much interested in the idea of signing more players this summer. According to reports from a number of sources, the north London club have registered an interest in midfielder Sébastien Thill who plays for Moldovan Super League club FC Sheriff Tiraspol. The midfielder is one of the best players FC Sheriff have in their books and he has been attracting some interest from a couple of clubs in the past now but Tottenham want to try and bring him to the English Premier League this summer.
It is not yet certain whether or not the 27-year-old star will relish the chance of moving to England to continue his career but according to reports, the idea of playing in England may be too juicy for him to turn down. Spurs already have a number of options in their midfield department but manager Nuno Espirito Santos is said to be keen to add some more firepower to his squad as he wants to challenge for silverware this season, with the idea of winning at least a Cup title.
Thill can play both as a right-sided and left-sided midfielder in a midfield three pattern and his brilliant attacking play coupled with his vision for through balls and passes makes him a befitting candidate to play for Spurs this season. He would be a great addition to the Tottenham squad if his transfer is sealed but so far, it still looks as though it's just rumored.
Tottenham are still battling to keep Harry Kane at the club but they are willing to appease him with more signings this summer as they look to stop him from wanting to move to City this summer.
