The England manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that the Chelsea defender John Terry is likely to be selected for the match against Moldova.

England will be starting the World Cup qualifying campaign against Moldova followed by the match against Ukraine a few days later. The Chelsea defender John Terry was recently found not guilty of racially abusing their QPR defender Anton Ferdinand by the court trial. However, he has been charged by the English FA, which could have possibly meant that the Chelsea captain would not be present for these two matches.
